Water reservoirs: from field survey to BIM.

A water infrastructure survey in Lebanon, recorded through field capture, aerial imagery, laser scanning and a BIM model walkthrough.

How the survey was carried out

The team accessed the reservoir structure on site, including a rooftop opening and interior spaces, and recorded conditions with survey instruments, laser scanning and rope-access support where needed.

Aerial capture produced an orthophoto of the site overview, scanning produced a point-cloud record of the structure, and the modelled result is shown as a BIM model walkthrough recording.
